Office Safety Guidelines

It is our pledge to maintain the safety and cleanliness of our waiting/reception area, as well as our patient exam and treatment rooms. Here are some guidelines we would appreciate anyone with an appointment would please follow:

1. Please call the office upon arrival. We ask that you wait in your vehicle and a member of our staff will call you back when we are ready for you to enter the office.
2. Only the patient will be permitted to come into the office unless the patient is a minor. No other family members or friends will be allowed to wait with them.
3. If you are a new patient or need to update your paperwork, we ask that you download the Office Forms and then either fax them back or email (info@drkurzman.com) them to us with your insurance card. The office forms can be found on our website under “Dr. Kurzman’s Office” and clicking “Office Forms” in the drop down list.
4. You must wear a mask and gloves when entering the office.
5. If you have a cough, fever, or have tested positive for COVID-19 within the 2 weeks prior to your appointment, are currently positive with COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 within the 2 weeks before your appointment we ask you to reschedule your appointment.

We will be taking these others safety measures to keep our staff and patients safe:

-We will be sanitizing all rooms, surfaces, and contact areas before, during and after each appointment. As always, we’ll be using an EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant that meets the recommendations set by the CDC.
-All team members will be wearing a mask and gloves throughout their shift.
-We are extending appointment times to allow plenty of time for sanitation between visits.
-We will be doing temperature checks on all staff before their shift begins and all patients upon arrival. Anyone with a temperature over 99.5 degrees will be asked to reschedule their treatment.
